Why we built these free online tools
Many of our articles answer questions that end with a number: how many days you can stay in Europe, which pack is cheaper, what to charge a client, or how much to save each month. So we turned those questions into calculators that do the maths for you.
Each tool page also explains how the calculation works, so you can check the result yourself. For example, the Schengen calculator page explains the 90/180-day rule step by step.
All of these free online tools are designed for readers in many countries. As a result, you can choose your own currency where it matters, and the results use plain language instead of jargon.
Which tool should you use?
- Schengen calculator: for anyone visiting Europe without a visa.
- Unit price calculator: for comparing pack sizes and spotting shrinkflation at the shop.
- Freelance rate calculator: for freelancers and students starting to sell their skills.
- Budget calculator: for planning your monthly money with the 50/30/20 rule.
More free online tools are coming
We plan to add more calculators over time, especially for travel, careers and everyday money questions. If there is a tool you would find useful, tell us through our contact page and we will consider it for a future update.
A note on accuracy
These tools give estimates for planning. However, they are not legal, financial or tax advice, and official rules can change. For important decisions, check with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
